On the 8-9 of November EAC took part in a workshop focusing on quality and training in the asylum process. This time the focus was the countries neighbouring the EU to the east. The aim of the workshop was to share experiences and knowledge between the participants of the workshop and to identify possible areas of future cooperation in the sphere of training and quality in the asylum processes.
Interview Techniques, Interviewing Children and Evidence Assessment are the three modules chosen for updating this autumn.
On September 15, EAC will be present at the GDISC Asylum Conference and the UNHCR FDQ (Further Developing Asylum Quality) conference in Brussels.
Interview with François Bienfait - Deputy Commissioner for Refugees and Stateless Persons at the Office of the Commissioner General for Refugees and Stateless Persons - the 1st instance authority in the Belgian asylum procedure.
A conference on the implementation and the further development of the European Asylum Curriculum will be held on the 21st - 22nd of June in Valletta, Malta.
