On the 6-7 December EASO arranged the first EAC expert pool meeting. The same week the EAC project and EASO also organised the fourth National Contact Points session.
On the 6-7 December EASO arranged the first Expert Trainer Pool meeting with the main objectives to set up the pool and give additional didactic training to the EAC trainers. This was also an opportunity to get input from the trainers in other related issues. At the meeting around 40 trainers from several countries were participating. This network will have added value in knowing each other better since they will be trainers together next year.
The same week the EAC project and EASO also organised the fourth National Contact Points session in order to discuss the further implementation of EAC under EASO lead. A majority of the MS was represented to discuss issues like the need to organise EAC training for managers, regional training cooperation, the role of the trainer in the national service and of course EASO’s ambitions next year. This was an occasion for MS to share their experiences in implementing EAC. France has for example established a special EAC forum and Romania has invited Moldovan colleagues to their training sessions.
After a very intensive EAC-week this was followed by the inauguration of the Consultative Forum, on the 15 December, where EAC once again was discussed.
