In order to guarantee the quality and content of the training, those who want to use the EAC training material have to comply with certain rules and guidelines.
Online training material and Trainer’s manual
The following criteria are mandatory for anyone wishing to deliver EAC training:
- For each module, the trainer must have completed the EAC train-the-trainer programme, including the online self-studies and the face-to-face session.
- All parts of the training must be delivered, both the online material and the face-to-face session.
- The training must comply with the guidelines in the module’s Trainer’s manual.
- The EAC online learning platform must be used for the online part.
- Removing or changing content is not permitted, but additions are allowed in the face-to-face session, such as new example cases and content describing the application and/or adjustments to national law and regulation.
Copyright
All material is proprietary and may only be used in compliance with European copyright laws.
EAC logotype
The logotype represents the European Asylum Curriculum and the modules’ content. It may be used in any situation and by any Member State or NGO when delivering EAC training, provided all above criteria are met.
Trainers
To protect the concept, as well as the integrity and quality of the training curriculum, only centrally trained trainers are allowed to deliver EAC training.
- A Certificate of attendance is issued to all participants who have completed all parts of a central train-the-trainer programme on a module. This entitles the participant to deliver national training on the module.
- Trainers who want to work with EAC training on an international basis may ask their national contact point for EAC to nominate them for the EASO EAC Expert pool. They should then send the nomination to
