Trainer courses

The trainer courses are held in English and are aimed at trainers who will deliver national training on the EAC modules. The trainer courses start with 20-30 hours of online self-studies distributed over a period of four weeks, during which the participants are coached and supported by the trainer. The online training is followed by a 3,5 days face-to-face session where the knowledge gained during the online phase is further developed in discussions, group exercises and role-plays. As a complement, and to prepare the participants for the task of being national trainers, the program also includes a session on didactics, and a session on the EAC e-learning platform.

The trainer courses are free of charge, but participants have to cover their own costs for travel and accommodation. All face-to-face sessions are located in Valletta, Malta.

EAC’s last trainer sessions as a project

Students with diplomas at EAC trainingOn the 22-25 of November, the face-to-face sessions of Country of Origin Information (COI) and Drafting and Decision-Making marked the last two trainer’s sessions in EAC’s history as a project. Next year, the training sessions will be hosted and organised completely by EASO and the project phase of EAC is over.
