EAC Expert Trainer PoolEASO has decided to establish an Expert Trainer Pool. This will be a key tool to be able to provide training continuously with an even higher quality.
One of the challenges for the future EAC training within EASO was to secure a good supply of EAC experts and trainers. This was pointed out by the EAC National Contact Points at their meeting in June. Thus the meeting recommended that an Expert trainer pool was to be established. During the beginning of the autumn EASO showed proof of their perceptiveness and decided to establish such a pool.
Welcome to the EAC website! Here you can find information about planned trainings and meetings with everyone involved in the field of asylum at migration services around Europe.
When we started this project we had a vision to create a common training tool for all steps in the asylum procedure, available free of charge for everyone dealing with asylum matters. Even if our main target group is the asylum officers, the training material will be as useful for both the management level as well as for the policy level. We believe that when implemented in all Europe we have managed not only to reach a higher level of quality but as well a more harmonized approach in working with asylum cases. This will be beneficial not only for our migration authorities but as well guarantee a fairer and uniform procedure for the ones seeking for protection wherever in Europe they will apply.
With the end of the Project you are presented the last EAC newsletter edited by the project management group. The December newsletter contains a number of articles giving both the picture of latest EAC activities as well as a kind of outlook of EAC life in 2012.
